There’s something really special about weddings that unfold at home — relaxed, personal, and completely rooted in the people and place around them. Chrissy and Will’s beautiful celebration in Brancaster was exactly that. I first photographed them last year at their intimate legal ceremony at King’s Lynn Town Hall — a small, emotional moment shared with just their closest people.
This second celebration felt like the natural continuation of that story. Held at Chrissy’s parents’ home, the day in Brancaster was effortlessly chilled. Guests relaxed in the garden, kids played on the lawn, and everything flowed at its own gentle pace. Their humanist ceremony was led beautifully by their close friend Caroline, bringing warmth, humour, and a real sense of intimacy to the moment. Behind the scenes, everything came together seamlessly thanks to Jules (also Chrissy’s cousin and Maid of Honour), who planned and supported the day with real care and calm.
The atmosphere was lifted throughout the afternoon by roaming brass from King Brasstards, while elegant styling from Array and a marquee from Morton Marquees transformed the garden into a perfect celebration space. As evening arrived, live music from The Fat Cats filled the dance floor, and guests cooled off with ice cream from Danns! — the perfect finishing touch to a Summer’s day well spent. A beautifully simple, joy-filled wedding that felt completely true to Chrissy and Will from start to finish.
