Voewood is a wonderfully eclectic wedding venue in Norfolk. This Arts and Crafts-style house, located in High Kelling near Holt, is owned by Simon Finch. Its interiors have been meticulously styled with beautiful pieces ranging from high culture to counterculture, all carefully placed to impress, enchant, and amuse. If you are looking for a truly unique wedding venue in Norfolk, there is nowhere quite like Voewood. As a Norfolk wedding photographer, it is always a joy to photograph weddings at such a creative and character-filled venue. Harriet and Jon are the loveliest couple and wanted their wedding day to feel completely relaxed. They held their ceremony on the back lawn at Voewood beneath the September sunshine. The weather was incredible for a mid-September wedding day. Suppliers included Ashley Kay for hair and makeup, Lady Greenleaves (the bride’s cousin) for floristry, Florentina for catering, and Fat Brass, who kept the dance floor full with an incredible atmosphere throughout the evening. Harriet wore a stunning wedding dress by Rembo Atelier, while Jon looked effortlessly suave in a double-breasted bespoke suit by Mark Powell. Harriet and Jon are an incredibly creative couple, and many of their talents were woven into the wedding day itself. This included the place cards and signage, a custom ring box handmade by Jon, and an incredible macramé arch created by Harriet, which served as the backdrop for their ceremony.
As a Norfolk wedding photographer, capturing relaxed and personal celebrations like Harriet and Jon’s is always a privilege.
